Focus On Salons version 2009 is soon to be released!

We, at bbtSoft.com have put Focus On Salons under the knife and have totally reworked the application from the ground up.

Focus On Salons was our first application released back in 2001.
At the time, there were very few salon management applications that would allow you to purchase the software outright without a monthly fee, and those that did not require a monthly fee cost literally thousands of dollars to purchase. This put the purchase of quality salon management software well out of reach of the 1-person and small to mid-sized salons and shops.
Our challenge was simple: To create software with the power and features of higher priced software at an affordable price.
We met that challenge head on! Numerous hours of application design, beta testing and trade shows later, Focus On Salons was born.

We have consistently kept the pricing of Focus On Salons well below any other software application that contains the same or similar features.

Focus On Salons has been received so exceptionally well, that we have made few changes to the application since its’ initial release in 2001.
But we realized that the new features of Windows 7 coupled with the power of the newer computers could make your jobs, as salon owners and managers, even easier were we to redesign Focus On Salons to take advantage of the power of these new operating systems and get more out of Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000, Windows XP and Windows Vista.

Smart Salon Manager 2009 has been released!

Smart Salon Manager version 2009 has been released by BriBeck Technologies, LLC.
Smart Salon Manager has been totally rebuilt from the ground up to take advantage of the latest computer technologies.
Unlike the previous version, Smart Salon Manager 2009 is built using, as a foundation, the Microsoft .Net framework.

What is the Microsoft .Net Framework?

Emphasis was placed on stability, reliability and performance.

• Performance has been increased by over 40% over previous versions.
• Less RAM (memory) is used.
• Code has been optimized to make the best use of today’s (and tomorrow’s) computer hardware.
• Has undergone rigorous testing in various environments.
• Will interface seamlessly with our new eShop web services.

When you demo Smart Salon Manager 2009, the first thing you will notice is the slick, new interface.  The look and feel of the application is somewhat different from the previous version.  The majority of the buttons and screens are similar, so the application will not require relearning, but all screens have been made more efficient to streamline your daily workflow.

Information such as Clients, Employees, Services, Service Packages, Products have been reworked so that, at a glance, you may view listings of that information or use on-the-fly searches to display (for eg: ) all products that contain ‘vera’, etc.

Reporting has been greatly improved.
We have recreated all reports using a more powerful reporting engine which easily allows exporting and saving of reports to all common formats including, Microsoft Excel, Text files, PDF’s, etc.

Smart Salon Manager version 2009 is set to be released next week.
It contains a host of new features aimed at greater performance, flexibility and features.
Unlike previous versions, version 2009 is built on Microsoft’s .Net framework. This means that the application will leverage the latest Microsoft tools and features to provide you with the greatest amount of power and flexibility while using the software.
Thanks to the above, the software runs over 40% faster than previous versions and uses less RAM. Performance across the board has been increased which translates to time savings for you—less time working the software and more time servicing your customers.
Smart Salon Manager version 2009 also directly interfaces with our new eShop Product (more on that to come). This will allow you to easily setup Online Appointment Booking and Online Reporting.
Smart Salon Manager version 2009 also integrates with our new QuickBooks Link application. This will allow you export your transaction information into QuickBooks at the touch of a button.
